Purchasing your first ring is exciting but can be tricky. Here are some methods to ensure you choose the best-fitting ring.
1. Professional Measurement (Recommended for Best Accuracy!) Visit a jeweler to accurately measure your finger size or borrow a professional ring size measuring set.
2. Measure an Existing Ring Measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits you well and refer to the ring size chart. If the ring is slightly tight or loose, adjust the size accordingly.
3. DIY Method Using String and Ruler Follow these steps for a DIY measurement:
- Wrap a piece of string, paper, or ribbon around your finger.
- Ensure it’s firm but not too tight, and if you have large knuckles, measure around them too.
- Mark the ends of the string where they meet.
- Measure the length between the markings and refer to the size chart.
