Refund policy

At Tales of Valhalla, all items are handcrafted and made-to-order. By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Order Cancellation Policy (Strict 24-Hour Window)

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase only.
  • After 24 hours, production begins and cancellations are no longer permitted under any circumstances.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted via email within the 24-hour window.

Once production has started, the order is considered final and non-cancellable.

2. Eligibility & Claim Window

  • Customers must contact us within 30 days of confirmed delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with all packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Final Sale items
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Oversized items
  • Gift cards

3. Mandatory Proof Requirement (Strict Enforcement)

To qualify for any return, refund, replacement, or claim, customers must provide ALL of the following:

  • A full, continuous unboxing video (from unopened package to full inspection)
  • Clear photos of:
    • The product
    • The shipping label
    • The packaging upon arrival

Failure to provide this documentation may result in automatic denial of the claim.

4. Valid Reasons for Return or Refund

  • Item is materially different from description
  • Factory defect or verified carrier damage
  • Incorrect item received
  • Missing item(s) (with packaging and label proof)

5. Non-Eligible Reasons

  • Incorrect selection (size, color, design, variant)
  • Customer misunderstanding of product listing
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Carrier or customs delays
  • Import duties or taxes
  • Damage from misuse or improper care
  • Minor variations (up to 20%) due to handcrafted nature

6. Customs, Duties & Delivery Responsibility

  • Import duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Tales of Valhalla does not collect or control these fees.

If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned:

  • 70% restocking fee applies
  • Original and return shipping fees are deducted
  • Reshipment requires a $70 flat shipping fee

7. Return Procedure (Approval Required)

  • Returns must be approved and issued with an RMA number
  • Unauthorized returns will be refused and forfeited
  • Use a trackable shipping method

Customers are responsible for return shipping, packaging, and tracking.

8. Fees & Deductions

  • 10% restocking fee applies to approved returns
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Additional deductions may apply for damaged or incomplete returns

9. Refund Method & Processing Time

  • Refunds are issued after inspection (up to 5 business days)
  • Default method: store credit or voucher
  • Cash refunds are case-by-case
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days (bank dependent)

10. Replacements & Exchanges

  • Replacements issued only for approved claims
  • Items cannot be modified once processed
  • Exchanges are not guaranteed

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order, you agree to contact us before initiating a dispute.

  • Active chargebacks will pause all support and order processing
  • We reserve the right to submit all evidence including policy agreement and tracking

  • Variations are not defects
